Well I don't think Vegas has turned into Seattle yet, but my lovely L.A. has. It is now official we have gotten more rain than the rainiest city on West Coast. The streets out here are flooded, mudy hillsides sliding and it is supposed to rain thru Wednesday. rain rain go away come again some other day.......It's too dangerous to drive unless you have too.

Surely you jest! One of the most amusing aspects of rainy LV visits
is that rainy days mean leaks in every LV casino I've ever been in.
Rain proof roofing doesn't exist in LV construction techniques.

i'll admit las vegas building codes aren't up to where they should
be, but you might want to upgrade the type of casino where you
play...
Well, on heavy rainy days, I've seen buckets and mops put to good
use in Bellagio, TI, Mirage, Flamingo, and Harrah's just to name a
few of the better joints. Are those upscale enough for you? Come
to think of it, I've never seen a leaky spot in the Venetian. Last
January, during a particularly unpleasant cold and rainy night,
friends invited us to dinner at the Tuscany. On the way out, we
stopped by the gift shop where water was actually pouring from the
light fixtures overhead. We decided to leave before we were
electrocuted.
