Interesting.
The only win/loss feedback I had heard previously was
one $4000 RF by a vpFREE member.
Do you know how the two partners did who got backed
off ?
···
-----------------------------------------------------------
Their first initials are D and J. They've been around for a long time, at
least ten years. D told me that they were both winning, but I don't remember
details. It was at least two years ago, if I rightly recall.
In case this isn't obvious, two players each rapidly playing two machines
side by side to take advantage of a good play is a HUGE red flag to the casino.
Duh!
=================================
Do you know any win/loss results for anyone else?
------------------------------------------------------------------
No. The partners and one other pro (he's on this List, and frequently posts)
were the only players I knew. And we were (if you include me) pretty much
the only players playing those machines at dollars, during the hours I played
them. The machines were multimultis, with lowest denomination at pennies, so
they did get quite a bit of casual play at the lower denoms. They were right
outside the coffee shop entrance, and people waiting for tables would often
play them until they could be seated.

Do you have an opinion on why they put in the $1 FPDW,
and/or on why they removed them?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have more than an opinion. The machines came from the factory set up
exactly as they were installed, with the higher denoms getting the best paytables.
A tech at Rainbow confided in me that they (the Rainbow slot techs) didn't
know how to change the payoffs on these latest generation machines, so they
just installed them "as is," and hoped for the best. Eventually, they learned t
he procedure for switching paytables, and they then "tightened" the games
they were getting beat on.
