Rainbow dollar FPDW, was Re: El Cortez JWKB

The "greedy pros" were asked to not play there anymore. I know of two
partners who played two machines at a time for about eight hours/day, and were
barred after just a few days. Smart guys, but not too bright.

I played there for about 15 to 20 hours/week, just on one machine, for a few
weeks. I hit four Royals and won over $10K on them. Four Deuces was NOT a
hand pay, but if you cashed out a ticket for over $1000, it took approval by a
supervisor. So when I hit Deuces, I would play until the credits dropped
below $1000 before cashing out. I am still welcome at the Rainbow Club, for
whatever that's worth.

There were about 20 total machines, and it is true that they did not get
much play, at least in the morning hours when I was there. The slot staff
frequently offered me free coffee shop food, but I really wasn't interested in any
Rainbow comps. No slot club, no worthwhile comps, and a fairly remote
location with no covered parking (it was summertime in LV!) all made the play less
than desirable to most.

4. The general consensus on the demise of the Rainbow $1 FPDW
was that no one was playing them, rather than they were being
pounded by greedy pros.
