Quick Royal Report

Last night I finally got a Royal on the deuces progressive at Fiesta Rancho.
Been playing that bank on and off for a year!!

And it proved to be according to Allison's Law <g>.. "A Royal is ALWAYS a
Surprise." I drew to KQJT of hearts with eyes closed (my own superstition) and
heard... nothing. So assumed failure again, opened my eyes and saw that
delicious ten and heard the music simultaneously.

And the progressive was under $1200 (I prefer not to have IRS involved in my
business) so it was even better (perverse me).

I'm sure you and I are not the only ones with that "eyes closed"
superstition. Congrats!

Count myself in that camp -- though it doesn't involve royals, nor is
it superstition.

I'm predominantly a Jacks player and a modest dearth of higher denom
9/6 machines in AC pushes me to pull 3-4 hours sessions (or longer).
The dryness of the game occasionally leads me to shut my eyes on dealt
trips, hoping for a credit count that advances beyond trips and the
excitement should it continue and ratchet into a third set of
advances, signaling a quad. Small thrills for a small mind.

Congrats!

In 10 hours of play on All American on Sunday at Prairie Band(Topeka,
KS), I got 3 royals(tied for my record in a day) and only 1 straight
flush. The first royal was dealt 30 minutes after I arrived. Bet
max, RING: 10, J, Q, K, A of clubs in order! This place is too fast,
they were there before I could get a picture on my cell phone. Next
two royals were 3-card draws from 10, Q, K. +$3300. I love the rare
feeling that I can't lose. I even hit the $25 casino-wide jackpot
before I left.

Now I'm waiting for them to downgrade the machines. Except I keep
seeing people play AA with 1 coin. Hello, you don't get the straight
flush bonus with less than full coins! Of course, it is still
probably better than 8/5 DDB 1 coin.
