Quick Quads Question

Yes, depending on the QQ game and paytable being played. You often break up full houses when the pair is lower than the trip, or if the trip is an A-4 for bonus games.

I'm not a QQ player since paytables in nearby casinos aren't very good. In fact, even during my Vegas stays I can't recall ever seeing a full-pay QQ game.

But I did wonder (in general) while observing if you ever break a FH if the pair has a card helpful in making a QQ:

For example, you are dealt 7-7-7-3-3, is it advantageous to keep just one of the 3s, hoping the 5th card is a either a 4 or another 7? Seems like on a 5 Play, for example, you are risking the 225 for a guaranteed FH (with FH=9 x 5 coins x 5 hands) for a much harder-to-get QQ paying just slightly more than the total FH payout. And that's if you even get a QQ or the natural 4K.

Thanks,

Mikey
