Yes, depending on the QQ game and paytable being played. You often break up full houses when the pair is lower than the trip, or if the trip is an A-4 for bonus games.

For example, you are dealt 7-7-7-3-3, is it advantageous to keep just one of the 3s, hoping the 5th card is a either a 4 or another 7? Seems like on a 5 Play, for example, you are risking the 225 for a guaranteed FH (with FH=9 x 5 coins x 5 hands) for a much harder-to-get QQ paying just slightly more than the total FH payout. And that's if you even get a QQ or the natural 4K.
