I guess that depends on how someone feels about variance. Personally
I like it to a certain extent. On a game with return less than 100%,
variance is the only thing that gives you an opportunity to actually
win money on the game in any given session. So if you are someone
who actually prefers the extra variance, it's just an extra plus on
top of the small additional return.
As far as having to learn a new strategy, I don't really see that
having much impact on the majority of people. If you are someone
that only knows one or two games, then you are likely happy with your
current plays and aren't looking for anything new anyway. If you are
someone who already knows 6 or 7 strategies, then adding another one
isn't a big deal.
