Well, it is definitely in my DNA. Both my grandfathers were in deep trouble
with their wives over gambling (my paternal grandfather was known as "fast
Nathan" for the speed with which he lost at the track) and my father was also
a gambler. My mother, on the other hand, remembered times with no money
because of her father's gambling and was firmly opposed to gambling all her
life. She once found a quarter in a slot machine in Las Vegas (we were
driving west and I was the driver so we stopped there) and took it to her
grave with her.

I found out about Video Poker from friends who had moved to Vegas about four
years ago. When I came to visit, they taught me and encouraged me to get the
software. I moved to Vegas a year and a half ago and have been enjoying the
scene since.

Oh, I'm also a professional bridge player so cards and patterns of cards are
very easy for me.
