Question re: strategy sheets

I often refer to strategy sheets (in the open) when I have a dilemma in VP; however, my question is do you think if I'm seen in a casino using these sheets that I'll be banned from the casino??

Any input will be appreciated.

Lisa

Lisa,

I've referred to VP strategy charts hundreds of times in casinos, and
I've seen lots of other people checking strategy charts while they
are playing VP. When learning a new game, I have at times put the
chart right on top of the machine because I needed to look at it
fairly often. For a game that I'm familiar with, I usually keep the
chart more or less out of sight (in my pocket, or in a coin cup, or
in the coin tray of the machine) since I should rarely need to
consult the chart. I have never had any problems resulting from this
practice, nor have I seen anyone else have problems. I doubt you'll
get in trouble with the casino for looking at strategy sheets. BUT,
read Jean Scott's latest article on the Las Vegas Advisor web site,
and read the thread about the Greektown barrings - it doesn't hurt to
be discreet when you use them.

We use them all the time without incident. We generally keep them in the
coin bin until needed or in our hands.
We try not to make it too obvious but I'm sure we've been seen.
