question marks in posts (XVP)

Guess you figured it out--just use one space after periods and no question
marks appear. Cool!

FWIW, my AOL software says that one space after a period is "standard." I
agree.

I haven't quite figured out where the mystery question marks come from.? I
am running Windows XP, IE 6.0 and Comcast broadband access.? I do the standard
2 spaces after a period.? Maybe that is the issue.

Ok, here's the experiment.

This time I will try one space after a period. Ok, that was with one space.

Now I will try 2 spaces after a period.? Ok, this was 2 spaces.? Let's see
where the question marks show up.

I learned to type before the age of computers and we were taught to have 2 spaces after a period. I've tried to change, but my fingers just won't remember. My editor has given up trying to bring me up to date and he just changes all of them in any manuscript I send him.

I learned to type back in the stone ages too. I was taught the same
thing. Two spaces after a period.
