Question about W-2g

Hi all, I have a question....When entering w-2g's is there a easier way
to list all of them. I have alot of w-2gs that I need to report.
Question is can I enter all the w-2gs from red rock on one with the total of all 40 of them as one total or do I have to enter each and everyone? I have w-2gs from over 20 casinos so I have well over 100 w-2gs
If I need to enter each one I better start now to be done by 4/15

Any help or feed back would be great.
Thank You all in advance
Mark

Mark,

You don't need to enter each w-2g. Just put the grand total in gambling winnings. The IRS usually only cares that your total at least equals what is reported by the casinos.

This seems the exact opposite of what my tax accountant (an enrolled
agent) told me. I'm going to tell him to do it your way.

I've never had any problems just entering the total.

Apparently the more popular income tax software programs prompt you to input each W2-G individually, but it's really not necessary to do it this way.
