I transferred 50k yesterday from Fiesta to Stations and today a friend told
me they might poofer the transfered points if I don't use them within 24 hrs?
Is that true?

Yes, that is true. I frequently transfer points from Fiesta to Stations to use the GVR spa, and I
have always been told about the "expiration" date by the slot club minions. The don't even
move them back to your other account; they just go bye-bye.
