Question About Station Casinos' Mystery Gifts

We got a postcard offering "mystery gifts" each Wednesday and Thursday for the rest of this month at either Palace, Sunset or Green Valley Ranch Station.

Surprisingly, when we were at Red Rock last night, we asked if we could pick up our gift there -- and they gave us the gift, which was a set of leather coasters. (They were very nice, non-logo, and came with a leather holder).

Today at GVR, the gift was a GVR logo fanny pack.

This got me wondering. I had at first assumed that the gift would be the same at all casinos; however, obviously that is not the case, since none of the others would be giving out GVR logo items.

Here's my question - what were the various casinos giving out yesterday and today (besides what I noted above)?

I was at GVR yesterday (Wednesday) and they were giving out candle sets from ikea. It
consisted of 4 glass bases (look like ice cubes) with thin candles in your choice of a few
different colors.

Well, I can tell you that last Wednesday 10/4 at Red Rock, the
mystery gift was the set of gift bags that were first offered in
September. If I didn't live so close to the casino, I would have
been mildly upset at such a so-called "gift".

Despite putting in significant play at the Peppermill in Reno, I've never stayed there. I'm now planning a trip to Reno, and I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. If you stay for one night and only play on one day, will the daily average be calculated based on the day of play -- or will it be halved (one day's play for a two day stay)?

Staying there isn't worth ruining my rating over, but it would be convenient for one night. I currently get BB in the $200-$250 range per period, and if a one night stay (with the same amount of play as I've done in the past) would halve my BB, it's just not worth it to me.

  Thanks,
  Lainie

I've been told (host) average will not be halved in this situation.

PM places more emphasis on "trip" play and accumulated annual play,
but you might want to call a (your) host just to be sure.
