Question about offer Edgewater/Colorado Belle

My husband received a birthday offer from Edgewater/Colorado Belle:
3 night comp stay, $60 Free play. We haven't gambled there in a couple
of years, so don't know the policy there now. Does anyone know if we
can use the "free play" without actually making a hotel reservation? Do
they use a pin number for free play there now? Thanks for any help with
these questions!

I believe you need to stay on an offer from EW/CB to get the Free Play.
Unlike the River Palms which gives the Free Play without needing to stay
there.

Does your offer tell you to take the coupon to the slot club? I
activated some free play on Tuesday, and the gal at the counter asked
me if I was staying there. I said yes (the truth), and no evidence
was needed. Of course- I have a very honest looking face.

Like Dennis said- at the RP you do not have to go to the booth to
activate your freeplay. If you are eligible and have a pin number
your free play is waiting for you. And yes you do need a pin number

The offer doesn't have a coupon with it - just a letter with the
Birthday wishes etc. - maybe we'll just go to the club and ask. Thanks
for your opinions on this though.

As others have stated,
I think they PREFER (of course!) that you book the rooms and actually
stay/PLAY there.

However, I just came back from my offer, and I was staying with a
friend at Harrah's for a poker tournament instead.

I guess I didn't LOOK as innocent as 'Hamstockman', as they have
ALWAYS asked for my ROOM #, upon arriving at CB booth.

So to make sure, I always just book the offer, and check out early
(next day). I feel slightly guilty holding a room I don't need; but
if I need it to get the 'bonus' freeplay, then there's no other way to
do it.

Once the freeplay was put on my acct., no problems using it.
In fact you can 'spread' it around (I did half on bartop BP,
and half on the 100% games).

RP - Different story. Since they are more 'antiquated' (to be nice),
their marketing dept. just automatically puts your freeplay on your
acct. (Assuming you already have a pin# to go with your card).

You can then download on MOST games (except the GKs and majority of
machines in Winners Wharf area.). However, there are SOME slanttops
with .25 NSUD to use it on (or like me - I'm getting so little from
them, I just play nickel 8/6 JB or 17-7 -5 Jokers for a change of pace).

BTW - I FINALLY broke my 'royal-less' streak, and happy bday to me!
CB - Within 40 hands (no kidding!) - I nabbed the River bartop BP
progressive at 1395 this past Friday afternoon!
A one-card draw for the Qh. Of course, all my 1-card RF draws were
useless last visit, when the Prog. was over #2100.....
What's the HIGHEST anyone's witnessed on ANY of these BP bartops?

So - my first Royal in ages, and on the 'freeplay'. Great parlay,
I'm looking forward to the May $50 freeplay offer!
(which I'll actually use this time - for the room, that is).
Martin.

I said I have an honest looking face, not innocent. There is a
difference. Innocent implies your are trying to pull something over on
them. Try to practice in the mirror, it will come.

What's the status of food and drink in the Diamond
Lounge as of now?

Martin, congratulations on the royal! Always nice when it finally
comes along, and even better after only playing a little while, and on
freeplay!

Going to Laughlin in June so this interests me too:) What about Reno, Harrah's Diamond Lounge? Does it even have one?

And if you dont have a host complain to one any ways. All of these servers hours got cut that were not union. Please comment on the poor food selection and hours

  Thank you
