Just curious - are there some specific criteria used to define
oneself as a pro? Or is this a fairly subjective label?

I was playing quite early Monday morning in Caesars AC when a very
comely lass sat down next to me and asked if I'd like to go up to my
room with her. I asked her if she was a "pro". She said no, she just
practices really hard.

Unfortunately, my
question goes unanswered. I've heard several people refer to
themselves as "pros", but it seems as if they just choose that label
for themselves, with no particular requirements to meet.

I would guess is that a "pro" would include several definitions.
The vast percentage of their income is generated by gambling.
They play on a very regular basis.
They NEVER play other than advantage situations.
They play long hours
They tend to play 2 machines.
They have the strategy down pat.
They seek out good promotions, etc
There must be more, but the main point is that they are NOT
recreational players.
