Proposed Smokig Ban in Atlantic City

Non smokers are VERY passionate, and I am one of
them but these discussions always remind me of the two
casinos in Laughlin that have non smoking sections. I
play in them but they have less than 10% of the
clientele of the smoking sections:-)

No - actually these bans are the result of the
majority being tired of
choking and getting lung cancer from second hand
smoke so that the minority can puff
away. A minority that is so addicted to nicotine
that they can't stop killing
themselves and those closest to them.

Hi Joe,

It is true that many N/S sections are relatively empty. It is also
true that, almost w/o exception, the casinos put their very worst
pay tables in N/S areas. By doing this they are effectively telling
non-smokers: "OK, we've provided you with your darn N/S area, and
you're not utilizing it. As we've said right along, gamblers don't
care about N/S gambling!" Typical Casino mentality.

Until the N/S MAJORITY assert their right to a safe enviornment in
which to gamble (by not patronizing the arrogant casinos who
promolgate the abhorent practice of populating N/S sections with
8/5DDB & 6/5BP machines) this practice will continue.
