Progressive play %

Elliott presents useful facts with candor. If your only objective was to
make money, you cannot go wrong with his philosophy.

His comment about % level to play progressives is particuarlay telling about
the competition & disappearance of good vp. If I remember correctly,
Elliott, you used to say 102% for dollars & 101.5% for quarters.

volatile?
...

To overcome that, I NEVER play a progressive unless there is a strong
positive potential of at least 101.5% on dollars and nop less than
1.25% on quarters.>>>

No! I have always used 101.5% for dollars and slightly less for
quarters.
However, if attempting to play on a progressive, the final rule is
that if all but one seats are taken, take the last seat so as not to
locked out.
I also will leave the play (if hungry, tired, etc.) unless the bank
contains ALL pros and then I will attempt to stay until the end.

Non pros do wierd things. I have seen pairs dropped in favor of 2
matched royal cards and often things like holding 3 deuces with an
Ace.. Sort of like the things that Singer does.
