Progressive 2-pair Joker Poker?

Has anyone ever seen one on the Atlantic City game where 5-of-kind pays top jackpot instead of the royal.

RE: Progressive two pair.

Atlantic City 's main game (popularity wise) is 2pair, 5ok, I used to frequent
the Tropicana, and they had many many banks of progressives.

Resorts, Showboat, I believe also had them. This is a very rough game to
win on and extremely difficult to learn. I believe the return is about 97-98%.

          Hope this helps you!

A progressive on the 5-kind can be found in decent numbers here and
there in AC. And it's not entirely unusual that you find a "positive"
meter.

Because of the short 11000 hand cycle between jackpots, it only takes
a $400 climb from a $1000 reset ($1400 meter) to add the 3% needed for
a "postive" game.

However, even at modestly positive levels it's not terribly
attractive. Because of it's very high volatility you have a 19%
chance of losing $4000 or more on $.25 play in JUST 20,000 hands.

I need to proof a bit more strongly. That should be $2000+. Still
not chump change for a modest run on a quarter game.

Yes, in AC, it is called "AC Joker" for a reason ("JW2" is also known
as "Joker Two Pair", in both LV and AC). I think you were asking
about LV.

Your best bet is Cannery, they have it for dollars, with a 4000-coin
progressed royal, which makes the game about 98.6% at reset, and an
extremely difficult 98.6% at that. Grand Biloxi had the same game as
Cannery before Katrina.

Jean, I'm curious about something..what's a respected authority like
yourself doing with all the questions and ISOs this week?

Thank you for the compliment. I can't think of any word I'd like to be called more than "respected." (Well, maybe "sexy" is close but at 68 I don't hear that very often!!!

Now to my questions. Even "authorities" who have been playing for 22 years haven't played every VP game or don't play in every casino in the U.S. Viktor and I are bringing out a new product in a few weeks that will be extremely useful for VP players, from newbies to pros. But there was some information we needed that I could not find in Vegas. Many of you have been very helpful and Viktor and I thank you very much.

More details will be forthcoming soon!!!!!!
