Truushot1,
I do not use monetary win/loss limits.
I play as long as I want, when I want. If I only have a hour, then I play
for an hour. If I've got all day, I sometimes play all day.
If I am getting tired or I feel like I am on a 'losing streak' (however I
feel at the time), I may take a break from video poker and play penny slots
or just do something else for awhile. So, maybe, that's *kind of* like a
'loss limit'? But, it's not a *predetermined* loss limit.
There are other reasons that I may stop playing.
If I am play a progressive - and it hits - I move on to another bank or take
a break.
If I am getting hungry, I will take a break to eat.
If I hit a royal, I move to another machine (or take a break). I know that
moving to another machine is completely irrational. But, it's not the only
thing that I do that's irrational.

Generally, do you set a win or loss limit for a session or day?
I realize that what happens today, other then trying to play
perfectly, doesn't matter in the long run.
Do you just take a certain amount of money to the casino for each session?
Do you play a number of hours or a number of hands?
Thanks for your input.
