Indianapolis-area construction executive Gerry Gilliatte won $1 million on a
Red White and Blue slot machine in the posh new Palace Court Slots Casino at
Caesars Palace.
Gilliatte was on vacation celebrating his wife's birthday in Las Vegas when
he hit the big jackpot, which was paid in one lump sum. He lined up the Red
White and Blue 7's on the $500 three-reel machine on Aug. 4, 2004. Still
feeling lucky, Gilliatte won another $11,000 on the first pull after the
machine was re-set.
