I am heading to Vegas next week, so I decided to head down to MGM
Grand in Detroit to play some craps. The vibe at the table was lousy
and the box man was pretty surly, so I cut my loses and headed
upstairs to play some VP.
I am most comfortable with JOB but decided to try some $.25 Double
Bonus.
A friendly senior citizen playing next to me, asked for my opinion
about what to do with his hand, 7h,Ah,Jh,Qh,Th.
I told him I couldn't tell him how to play his hand, but that as far
as I knew the strategy books would recommend dropping the 7 and going
for the Royal.
He did and drew a 2s
Oh well.
About 4 minutes later I drew 6c,Ah,Jh,Qh,Th.
I stopped and asked him if that wasnt almost the same hand he had.
I kept the AJQT and drew a Kh for the Royal.
It was nice to have a witness.
I hope it bodes well for my upcoming Vegas trip trip where I can play
some FP machines
