Posting info on good plays

Elliott is a pro but he's also a great contributor too.

Although he has strong viewpoints, his information is accurate & he does not
try to deceive with half-truths. IMO, he is a valuable member of the group.

As for posting info on good plays, I've learned not to post or comment on the
good plays unless someone else has already posted on it.

What I've restricted myself to posting are the up to 1.5% quarter plays or
other low $/hr plays that normally wouldn't be attractive to pros.

I've avoided stuff like when Venetian had slot pts on certain vp or other
screw-ups like FPJW on multi-lines which were certain to be pounded or
low-volatility high-volume plays.

Also have been using direct contact for quite a while now. Especially with
those that I've recognized as contributors.

Would like to encourage others to do the same as this cuts out the lurkers
who add nothing to this group.

As a `lurker' who has asked questions of this group or of certain
individuals perhaps a total of five times since registering as a
member over a year ago, in conscience I could not help but to hang my
head in shame upon reading this post. Other than purchasing products
associated with Anthony Curtis, Bob Dancer, Dan Paymar, Jean Scott,
Tom Ski, Dean Zamzow and others, I must admit I have added nothing to
this group in return. While I have tried to find my own answers to
questions prior to seeking enlightenment, I have remained an
electronic shadow peering steadfastly over the shoulders of others in
addition to being selfishly silent rather than contributing my
opinion and vast knowledge when it came to public servants playing
slot machines, the little known conspiracy between slot technicians
and the un-named figures associated with IGT Megabucks, as well as
many other such informative topics. Not wanting to find myself black
listed from the flow of information which unquestionably lies beneath
the surface of this group and which will continue to grow as the post
to which I am referring is taken to heart by others (eventually
requiring another sub set of informational flow between certain
members) should I one day relocate to a more worthy geographical
area, I offer the following contribution as it pertains to the
gambling opportunities available to me on an everyday basis which I
hope Tom will feel free to include in the database for all members
and in particular, for the author of the post to which I am
responding.

I'm wondering if I'm the only member of this group who each year
makes a few trips to Las Vegas or to other such areas where gambling
is permitted because I don't have access to gaming opportunities on
an every day basis and as such, little in the way of juicy
information to share. I also wonder if I'm the only member of this
group who, usually, prefers to remain silent rather than commenting
on the ridiculous or responding to self serving posts by other
individuals.

Fear not. I'm also a lurker here, just soaking up the information. And I live in Topeka, KS, where the Indian casinos don't offer anything even close to full pay machines. So when I play VP, I do it strickly for the entertainment value. The boats in KC are only slightly better, at least the ones I have been to.

Unfortunately, there are a number of lurkers on this, and the other
list, who are waiting for good information without ever presenting
any. These are the individuals who tend to kill good plays. They
take full advantage of any promotion to the point of destroying the
casino, if they could.

As a result, really good plays should not be posted (in my opinion)
because they will soon be destroyed.

Several years ago, Circus Circus put in full pay loose deuces. 10/17
worth 101.6% Their slot card added another 0.33% and they were
dollars. I played them, 2-3 times a week, for approx 2 hours each
time for 6-8 weeks. I told close associates about them. Then, one of
the "pros" found them, organized an around the clock schedule and they
were gone 3 days later. The 25c versions lasted about a month before
they were discovered. Years ago, the old Continental, had All
American with a quad payout of 50 (103%). Again, we played them for
months, they were discovered and they disappeared several days later.

This is what posting can do, and this is why I do not post this type
of information unless directly asked by someone that I know will not
abuse the information.
