Positive Changes at Tuscany?

because I was asked to go to a meeting at Tuscany and give my
opinions/advice. They haven't seen a lot of players yet, and the
first thing I suggested was to get their mailers out. That's now

bank of 25c FPDW with 6 players, while most of the rest of the floor
was empty. I noticed that all the multi-game/multi-denom. bar top
games at that big bar in the middle of the floor had 25c/50c/$1 10/7
on them. I strongly suggested they update all the games to FPDW on
all 3 denominations. I explained what that would mean in terms of the
local players coming in all hours of the day to play, since no other
dollar FPDW exists (and I'm not too sure about 50c either). I told
the management the free advertising on forums, in articles, and by
word-of-mouth would cause tremendous play.

Yes, we discussed the fact that so-called expert players would do
better than others on them, but the reason they are going to do what
I suggested is because they enjoy and believe my take on vp from
Gaming Today articles. And the fact that they are bar machines would
mean a mix of players anyway. I explained how the Suncoast became
instantly successful with their array of FPVP. I said LV needed a new
leader, and Tuscany -- with it's very comfortable casino -- has a
golden opportunity at hand.

I was told the switch would be made Mon./Tues. They also told me to
get the word out.

Did I make a calendar mistake and it's April Fool already? I'm heading to
the back yard to watch the pigs fly overhead.

We won't have to wait long to determine the veracity of this information.
If it is true, this is excellent news. As you know, I have publicly stated
that the future of full pay video poker rests in the hands of people like
Rob Singer. I have purposely avoided posting about the good plays at
Tuscany for very selfish reasons. I want to be able to play those .25 ten
coin FPDW again when I visit at the end of May. I was afraid they would be
gone if too many "optimum play" locals pounded them into oblivion. I don't
know how or why the Tuscany management values RS opinion, and I don't care.
If the inventory is changed as he says it will be, my hat is off to him.
Keep up the good work and keep trying to convince players to pound away
using the Singer System. The more players who follow the RS system, the
longer those machines will be at the Tuscany. I too enjoy RS articles in
Gaming Today. Play as I say and not as I do and VP will stay for another
day!

Yesterday I had a meeting on Howard Hughes and couldn't resist a walk-through of Tuscany afterward. Needless to say, everything is as it was. NSUD up to $1, lots of 10/7 and the 50 cent FPDW. Nothing new.

Guess it was an April fool after all.
