"pools" in the search box. It looks like the information is still current. JH

I was going to type a list but it's too long. Here's a pretty good reference:

I looked over your site. I have two questions.

One is, how do you keep track of VP machine changes in all the casinos?
I am not asking "how you do it", but as to how it is possible. Do they
make their database available to publishers such as VPPlayer, for love
or money?

Most available information, such as on this forum, is necessarily
geared for Las Vegas. AC has its own group, but I am having a devil of
a time being "accepted" in that August group (and two-thirds of that
month is gone). On your site, you said "Currently, we have the "Las
Vegas Top 40," but we will have a similar page for each region." I hope
you make an announcement when that materializes.

A la Jean $¢ott, I will comment on my own question!

I posted the following two days ago; at least that was when I hit the
Send button. It just appeared today. I've seen delays before, but this
is particularly strange.

Hi AM;
First, it appears you are talking about vpinsider.com, not VPP, which is an online newsletter/magazine - an ezine. You probably clicked through from the vpinsider banner on the VPP front page.

No, I don't think casinos are interested in supplying this kind of information to us. We get reports from our subscribers.

Vpinsider.com now has a "Top 40" for Las Vegas Metro, So Nevada, No. Nevada, East, West, South and Midwest. (Most of them don't actually have 40 casinos that have qualifying VP). You can also do your own "top casinos" list by selecting your minimum ratings of such things as hotel, restaurants, casino, benefits, best play, and overall inventory as well as particular games, denominations and platforms, searching on those factors, and then saving the search in your bookmarks (it will be automatically refreshed).

Of course you are right. I did go to VPInsider through your site, and

This seems to me, one more way the casinos indulge in behaviour
contary to their interests. Harrahs took a gamble in this regard
recently. On their home page, they have a link for "Slot Finder",
which enables one to see if a certain game is available at a certain
Harrah's casino.

One can Search By Casino, Search By Denomination (From .01¢ to $500,
what's your lucky bet?), Search By Slot Name, or Search By Slot Type
(Video or Reel). (It should be either 1¢ or .01$, but we can overlook
that).

For example, I could see that Harrah's in AC has -

Bonus Poker
Double Down Stud
Double Joker
Draw Poker
Fifty Play
Game King
Game Maker
Gold Mine Bonus
Joker Poker

machines, and further can find that Bonus Poker by IGT is available
at several denominations, upto $5

I wonder if some other casino makes this kind of information
available.

Of course, knowing that it is available is only the beginning, to
find it in a cavernous casino is something else.

No, I don't have any stock in HET; yet. Strangely, Casino stocks ave
been a gamble lately. Of LVS, HET, MGM, WYNN, BYD, STN, PENN and
ASCA, only Sands and Wynn seem to have done well in the last year.
