pong anyone???
I saw this game on the floor at the G2E. It's awesome, especially for
players of my generation.
It's going to be HUGE.

Not for me. I am the world's worse un-coordinated person. My grandkids tell me to stick with VP; I am a joke at their video games.

Somehow I can't picture you going within a country mile of a penny slot,
Jean, no matter how much coordination was involved.
But games like this are definitely going to create new "gaming enthusiasts"
in the Gen-X/Y set, who are used to and demand more interactivity from their
entertainment.
I'm honestly a little surprised the regulators let it through. When I saw
it at G2E last year I assumed it was destined for other jurisdictions.

I can see the new pong training software entering the market soon. In the
mean time the pong hustlers with blurry fingers and darting eyes will come
out of the woodwork and make a killing. Soon even those like myself with
blurry eyes and shaking fingers will be able to eek out pong wins.
Eventually all the really good pong plays will be burned down. Sad. So
sad. The end of pong.

Aaah, the 70s make a comeback. Problem is (per the article), only 7% diff between wins vs losses. If they make it 10% or more, I'd switch my allegiance from JW & FPDW to Pong! Loved that game and still have the game cartridge and the old Atari console. Is it time to dust it off and practice my english spins with my blurry vision and slightly shaky fingers?
What's next - Pacman or Space Invaders slots?
Bob, who would love to burn, err play, this game

All I know is if it's Galaxian I'll never be able to let Bev loose on
the casino floor again! (She's scary when playing -- or at least she

Wait a minute, I think you just described a bunch of us ... especially
the shaking fingers (or entire hands)
Personally, I'm waiting for pacman or asteroids. I could only play pong
for a few minutes without getting bored. Of course, kids today would
say the same thing about any games from the 70s or 80s.

That brought back some memories, Harry! 20+ years ago I was playing
an excellent single deck blackjack game at "93" in Jackpot, Nevada.
Often I'd be the only table game player in the casino! There were
some relief dealers I didn't trust, so when they came on to deal I
gravitated over to the Asteroids game that was close enough to still
see the bj tables. My Asteroids expense became a significant drain on
my blackjack EV! But I did get damn good at it.
Loved Galaxian, too.
