Poker Room Kaput!

Hi Gang:

Can anyone confirm that the poker room at Caesars Atlantic City has been shut down? First, the racebooks, now the poker rooms, too! I can’t take it.

BTW, the AtLarge Poker Extravaganza – one of my favorite events of the year – has been moved to the Tropicana this year. It used to be at the Taj for years, moved to the now defunct Atlantic Club last year and has found a new home at the Trop. Three great tournaments March 7, 8 and 9 plus a Thursday dinner and Saturday night banquet. PS: Hit our first royal of the year Saturday night at Harrah’s. Held four to a spades royal and drew the jack! 4K can wipe out a lot of losses in a hurry!

This happened in 2012. I would be interested in how some of the lawsuits come out.

It was kept quiet for well over a year, and the suit was filed just
this month.

The poker rooms at Caesars and Bally’s are being consolidated in a huge area at the WW West they hope will rival Borgata.

It is located behind the Mountain Bar, which has been “under construction” for years now.

The huge stage will offer live bands on weekends. They will also add more slots.

**** oh! great. Just what they need, loud music near the poker room. :-p

Yeah thats an interesting point. That usually means that settlement negotiations broke down. Most casinos dont want this kind of publicity. But someone here couldnt reach a settlement, undoubtedly.
