Poker Hand Nicknames

Howdy

Today while playing JB VP I was pulling three queens so often I decided to
give the hand a name. To me they will hence forth and forever more be known
as.."The Andrew Sisters." Don't ask me which one is Laverne !

That got me to thinking (no wise cracks please) and I began to recall other
endearing terms for various formations of the Unholy 52. Some I know are quite
familiar to you and yours. A full house is referred to as a "boat" or "full
boat". A small 5 card straight is a "wheel". Three of a kind are "trips"..and
four of a kind are "quads. A pair of jacks we used to call "meat hooks" and
a pair of kings were "cowboys". Aces are called "bullets by some.

I am sure you can thing of some others that would pertain to a video poker
hand.

Hey let's have some fun kids......I really need a life.......Grump

Hey Grump.

A similar thread was going around a few months back and the results
of the various nicknames were collected and can be accessed here:

Perhaps the administrator will add these new terms!

I get dealt trip sixes alot, i.e. 666.....does that mean anything?

I call it "Devil's Trip" or 'Mark of the Beast', or in your best Dr. Evil's voice from Austin Powers, just say "evil" and point a pinky towards the corner of your mouth.

On the boardwalk @AC, you can get T-shirts that show an
A, K, Q, 4, 10 suited hand that say "I Was A Jack-Off In
Atlantic City". My favorite shirt of all the ones I've
seen there in a LONG time(tho, no, I didn't buy one).

I get trip threes a lot, does that mean I'm(only) half evil?
