pNSUD with NSUD Strategy
Using Frugal Video Poker, pNSUD returns 98.907417% and using perfect NSUD strategy it returns 98.898095%.

pNSUD is 98.913% with perfect strategy. You had better have some real good
benefits if you play this game.
(If it is a progressive that would help but would require strategy
adjustments.)
I believe one easy adjustment form NSUD is that all one deuce open end
straights are played as such rather than stiff deuce.

Sadly at higher denominations in Las Vegas, this is now frequently the highest returning game when 8/5 Bonus is not offered. I've had to resort to 8/6 JoB, 9/5 JoB, and 8/6 BPD in many cases, so this is probably a better alternative.
Thanks to the other reply with the strategy modified return. I used to have FVP but could never figure out how to use this function. Somehow you had to run the strategy generator then import the new paytable?

It's all about the theo setting and the bounce back mailers. Over the years I've had some good ongoing plays on this game. As someone else mentioned, this is sometimes the best game to be found at higher stakes at a number of casinos. And if the casino sends you various mailers for approximately 2% of your action in free play, then suddenly a 1.1% negative game looks pretty good.
