Looking for someone who has stayed at both the plaza and vegas club. I
have an option to stay 2 nights comped at VC with no tourn. or 3
comped at plaza while the plaza is having a slot tournament, but they
require the 3 night reservation. I only need the 2 nights, being I am
staying elsewhere. Is the Plaza old and dumping - both bad ?

I've stayed at both places recently. The north tower rooms at the
VC are clean and pretty comforatble, the south tower rooms less so,
but I've heard that many have been ronovated. The Plaza renovated
rooms are pretty decent, but are somehow overall more crummy than the
VC in general. The Vegas club has better bathrooms, room doors and
hallways than the Plaza.
I came in 5th place at the Vegas Club Tornament back in December,
good enough for $250. Good luck!

Each time I go to Las Vegas I stay at the Plaza, due to the price of a
room. Lay donw in bed, close your eyes....that is what evdry room
looks like when you sleep. I go to Gamble, seeing a show is
secondary, expensive mdeals do nothing for me, I am there to gamble and
take their money back east. And I havd done it every time with one
esception.

I've stayed at the Vegas Club many times, the Plaza only once, but I
much prefer the casino at the Vegas Club for overall cleanliness and
atmosphere. The north tower rooms at VC are large and generally
comfortable though getting quite worn. Don't bother with the "deluxe"
room as it is just a north tower room with a hair dryer and fridge
added. Also there are no non-smoking deluxe (formerly MVP) rooms.
Our room at the Plaza (south tower) was clean and had a nice view of
the distant strip, but was much smaller than the VC room with a much
smaller bathroom.
