AT Arizona Charlie's East when TITO wasn't working right, I cashed out and received a hand pay for about $300. I was told to "play it off." I said there's nothing to play off. I was told I had to play it off. I said again there's nothing to play off and I have no money in the machine. The guy still wanted to argue so I walked off.

No you don't have to play it off. Once in Joliet, on my last hand I
got a hand pay. After they paid me they said play more to play it
off. I said no, They said ok. They opened up the machine and just
reset it. That also happened in Vegas once. Got a royal on the last
hand. They didn't even ask me to play off. Just paid me.
