playing vs burning out a play

This was once a great quarter play ( at Sam's) but thanks mostly to
a certain VP hog, an older gentleman who used play two machines at
hyper deal speed usually during latenite/grave hours, this play is
barely acceptable unless you have a thing for FPDW! It really
disgusts me and Im sure many others here to see these greedy hogs
ruin a play like this. However, I beleive there are RARE exceptions
to this such as the recent half dollar 17/10 Loose Dueces
at the Orleans. Its was painfully obvious the Orleans (its slot
director to be more concise) put these banks of machines in as a
gimmick to soften the blow of recent NSU, 9/6 JOB, and 10/7DB
removals. The only reason this play lasted a surprising 2 1/2 months
is because it took a little longer for the machines to yeild its
theoretical 101.6%. I cleared 17K from this play because I was lucky
to have a 2 week head start playing 2 machines before evrey Tom,
Dick and Jane descended on it like locusts, some with freshly
printed strategies on quarter folded 8x11 sheets of paper in plain
sight.

Short Pay, what is the difference between the person playing in the first example ( at Sam's Town) and person playing in the second example at Orleans?

The Fpdw at Sam's were there as long Ive lived here (SINCE 1998)

and were slashed sometime in '05. The people who burned down ST
(most of these people also took down the Orleans) got greedy to the
point where ST management took notice and thus implimented
countermeasures. The net affect, I believe, hurt the averge jane and
joe who only play for a lark. These players acounted for a majority
of
the play on the FPDW bank. The hogs who ruined it simply took it in
stride and moved on to their next targets. The Orleans on the other
hand, simply put, installed the FPVP banks as a short-
term gimmick. It was more or less a giveaway promotion with a
200,000$ prize pool. They practically had signs saying "come on
down, take your best shot!" So I saw no problem with the VP hogs
taking down that play as, quite frankly, the Orleans deserved it! So
the difference's are at ST it was pure greed where as at the Orleans
it was simply taking a handout of cash. Who here would decline a
potiential 40$/hour handout? My point exactly!
