PLAYING MONDAY

Guys,

I'm finally going to get a chance to play some Pick'Em (or maybe
some real poker?) Monday. I haven't had many days where I can get to
Detroit and play this winter, but I'll have some more free time now.

Got my last poker book finished (I think...I keep playing with it)
and now I'm just sending it off every couple of weeks to publishers.
I sent it to Cordoza Publishing, but haven't heard back from them in
a month so I guess it's a NO!

I'm completely re-working my other poker book. Now that I look back
on it, it was a kind of a hair-brained idea to combine jokes and
poker strategy. It seemed the editors didn't care for the concept all
that much. Idid have Workeman Press tell me that they thought it was
unique and interesting, but not for them.

Been winning some money playing poker here and there on the
Internet lately. I just won an entry to a $6,000 tournament today at
Absolute Poker for next Saturday. Not bad for a 60 cent buy-in with
what seemed like hundreds of re-buys. I never re-bought once and
still won the damn thing.

Ate at the new GT cafeteria a couple of weeks ago. No, it's not as
good as MGM or MC, but if you can't find something good to eat there,
you're very, very picky. I like the seasoned, grilled lamb chops. I
just loaded up a plate of them, got a couple glasses of Cabernet, and
had a great meal...and it was comped, except for the wine.

I'll probably go to MGM first Monday, and them make my way over to
GT later. I wish GT had the new Pick'Em, full-pay machines like MGM
does. Much more comfortable to play on, although you can miss hitting
the right buttons every now and then.

See ya when I see ya guys,

Terry

Terry; Greektown has changed some of their machines in the VP room and the room where pic-um were.
You may have to walk around the new section as there are machines with pic-um over by the new Bar in the new section.
