I am a new Detroit member though I have been a national vpFREE member for about 6 years. I haven't played in a couple years because of current audit by the IRS. I was a gold star Wynn redcard member who played $1.00, 100 way VP. I never considered playing in Michigan though I reside here because of the local tax laws even though they are applicable to my play in Nevada. I have read virtually every current VP book, gambling tax book and have the Dancer computer programs and how to manuals. If I ever get my IRS issues straightened out in my favor (Schedule C vs. other) I may consided playing locally but assume the pay tables are poor.
Are there any 100 way machines that accept at least a 50 cent wager available locally. Likely not but if there are where are they and what is the pay table. Thank you. Denny
Playing in Michigan
Denny,
I personally don't play the multi-line machines because of the high risk factor. In Vegas, I might, if they had some good paying close to 100% games loaded. In Detroit, risking $50 or a $100 on a lousy 96% or a 97% 100 play machine would be financially foolish...but the casinos would love ya and shower you with cheap trinkets and cheap eats.

About all that's left in Detroit for us quarter players is the 99.73% Deuces wild (NSUD)game at Greektown. I was at GT yesterday, took my $50 free play, hit the 4 deuces for $250 and ran for the exit. I'm now happy with winning a few hundred as compared to years ago when I was playing dollars and trying to win thousands.
I think Dolores and I will be at GT tomorrow. I'll look around at their 100 play machines and note the pay scales, although I don't expect to see anything worthwhile.
