I don't know if you want to get discretionary comps from a host or just use points, but Palms might be a good choice to use points.
Use the 3x point coupon from the ACG book (not good on machines with stickers saying they are excluded from promos). I don't think the bonus points are added until overnight but the slot club attendant will know.
Then use the 50% off coupon from LVA at the restaurant. (Some restrictions on this.)
$4000 coin-in is usually worth $10 in comps at the Palms. The 3x point coupon makes it $30 and the 50% off coupon increases it to $60.
Another idea for using using points for food would be to play at a Coast Casino on a 5x point day. At 600 pts. per dollar, 4000 pts. = $6.67. So at 5x points that's over $33. Coasts also have meal deals especially for 50+ seniors. Details are probably on their websites.
