I would appreciate hearing from players who normally play
10 play. It is a new game for me in a casino enviornment,
though I have been practicing 10 play 10/7DB on WP, for
2-3 hours each evening, for the last 4 weeks.
Up til now, the only multi-hand vp that I've attempted (in
live action) is .25 3 play 9/6JOB, and I've played very little
of that. Normally I play .25 or .50 single line only.
I will be in LV in a couple of days, and will be playing .05
10 play 10/7DB quite a bit. According to the "warn" feature
on WP, I perceive that 10 line is played with exactly the same
strategy as single line. Of course, this makes perfect sense
to me, yet I can't help wondering if some players adjust their
normal strategy when playing multi-line games.
For example, I assume that having 10 hands in which to possibly
convert RF3 to RF5, instead of just 1 hand, would cause some
players to at least consider keeping RF3 (which includes an Ace)
rather than a pair of J/Q/K's. It might seem equally tempting
to keep only RF3 (which includes an Ace) rather than a 4 flush
containing the same RF3. Logically, I understand that the ev of
each hand is the same, no matter how many hands you play
simultaneously. I am just curious as to how most of you
experienced multi-line players react to this (if you do at all)
and whether you ever deviate from the correct stategy to
compensate for the additional hands you are playing.
I have already decided to adher to the same strategy I use
when playing single line DB, but I would welcome any comments
or suggestions based on your personal experiences.
