Maybe Bob and Jeffery are trying to get us to play some Blackjack? That is
the other part of the S-O-F Valentine's promo. A 6/7/8 in hearts gets a
premium payoff.
Let's see- deal any three cards what is the frequency they are the 6 thru 8
of hearts?
My guess- 3/52 x 2/51 x 1/50= 6/22,100 or every 3683 tries...how about a
ballpark 3700?
Payoff is, according to PE, $250 for a $5 minimum table and $150 for a $3
minimum table. I assume $5 min is a DD at .5% vig and a $3 min is a shoe at .8%
vigourish.
Put 3700x$5 in play and you get a $250 bonus...250/18,500=.0135 or 1.35%
bonus.
Trouble is you don't save 13-15 all the time. You have to go against Basic
Strategy in order to draw for three hearts.
I will guess it costs .15% to hit a stiff against BS. I like a 1.2% premium
to play a .5% vig game.
Of course my figures can be off, have not slept on them. One must also
consider the benefits and detriments of playing BJ (flat betting) in S-O-F for any
length of time.
Please correct my errors...but this can explain why Slots-O-Fun is featured
this week.
