Well Slots-O-Fun isn't doing a premium hand-pay for every Heart Flush on Feb
14th. Can you imagine that nightmare for the workers? It is only for royals
in hearts.
But what is the value for this one? Do casinos actually figure these things
out beforehand? Sometimes they goof and sometimes the player gets a bit
excited in these one day wonders.
So to Ballpark the S-O-F promo, without a computer handy, what figures do you
use?
I would use:
Royals on a Jacks or Better style game contribrute 2% ER
A Heart royal happens every fourth royal
A quarter heart royal gets an extra $500 (or half a royal)
2% x 1/4 x 1/2= .25%, or basically double points, which you can get one day
a week (found in the Players Edge listing) to start with.

I am curious why Bob and Jeffery would feature such a promo in the Player's
Edge column? I will take the double points please.

OK, here is my real inquiry. How do casinos treat these royal add-ons? Is
it a $1,500 hit resulting in a W-2G? Or maybe a 1099 for $500? Or what?
