At Fiesta Rancho the Amigo Club deducted 1000 points I earned that
day for a Shell $10 gas card last Tuesday. That happened the previous
Tuesday too. The newspaper article is wrong, 1000 points are redeemed
for a $10 Shell gas card. I confronted the Amigo Club and they
admitted they did not disclose the redemption of points earned for
each gas card in the most cystal clear manner. Yet I was reminded
that 1000 points are usually worth around a buck, so it's a good deal
nevertheless.
