I've pretty much quit going to the Sun except to cash in free play and
redeem points/gifts. I'm sure that's not going to last too long once they see
they aren't getting any real play from me. I've gone a couple of times to
Foxwoods and played the $ progressives - after they first week they sent me
an offer for $50 free play each week through October, plus 2 free nights
Sun-Thursday. I miss the Sun - I've played there exclusively for 15 years,
but I'm not throwing money in and getting no points!
I went to Vegas in August and I'm headed to Atlantic City next week.
Would prefer to play in CT, but that's not going to happen as things stand.
Planning on using my points for airfare - I'm going to Europe next August, so
I'll burn them out on that. In the meantime, I'll match my free play
there and run it through once so my account stays active.
I've more than met the points for Sagamore, but I haven't received my new
card and I'm thinking they've probably changed the criteria and will try to
stiff those of us who qualify. Really not happy with Mohegan Sun anymore:(

We are well into October now and I was curious if anyone has received
their players card yet? I have been a Sagamore for 8 or 9 years now and I have
received nothing. I know I earned enough points for this next 6 month
period, but I don't know if they have changed other criteria for
qualification. I thought I was ok with the no points earned thing but after doing so
for about a month it really sucks.
If you win money you don't feel so bad, but when you have a losing session
and lose your money and have been playing for hours and earned nothing
it's not a good feeling!
I'm not sure what I am going to do from this point on. I am a $1 player
usually Pick'em, but I may just drop down to quater play and go much less
often.
Would like to hear what others have or will be doing on this matter.
