Hi,
I am relatively new to the world of the Player's Club and I have a question.
I joined in July. I have averaged about 7 sessions each month since then,
usually playing between 2000 and 3000 hands per session. Most were at the $1 JOB
machines, some on the 50 cent Bonus Poker machines and I always play 5 credits.
I have won $6740 during those sessions and lost $5720.
Since I have joined, I received two offers for a free room for one night. I
also received a $30 shopping coupon, free gas coupon, and many, MANY offers for
free tickets to concerts, usually about two offers per week. I was very
pleased with all the attention I was getting!
In the past 2 weeks, I have not heard a peep out of Mohegan Sun. Nada. No
emails, no snail mail. Just wondering if anyone has any theories? My husband's
theory is that I have been going there so often that they don't feel I need any
incentives. A friend of mine thought perhaps they have figured out I am an
advantage player and thus are reducing my offers.
Did they lose my email address? Have all the concerts been sold out? Are they
pissed off because I sent them an email about finding a bed bug in my room?
(Seems unlikely, but I have not received any offers from them since the day I
sent the email!)
Anyone got any other theories? Should I contact Mohegan Sun? Is this a case
where I should contact a host? (I see there is a link on the website for
contacting a host.) Or is there a "honeymoon phase" after you join the Player's Club
where they are nice to you for two months and now the honeymoon is over?
I'd appreciate any insights anyone might care to share. Thank you!
Cathy B.
