Player's Card - Premature Withdrawal

Nope, this isn't a sex thread.

On occasion we all have been dealt either a monster hand (say 4 aces in
DB or DDB) or a great draw to a monster. I've at times pulled or
considered pulling my player's card on hands like these before hitting
the draw button. My reasoning is that the casino's software might not
record the win against my account if the card was not in place when the
hand was completed. If so it's an effective way to mask some winnings.

Looking forward to insights and opinions.

It's also an effective way to get yourself barred from future play in
the casino if you're caught pulling your card to mask a big win. All
casinos forbid this.

A lot of casinos guard against this as well. If you try to pull your
card, after your hand is dealt, but before drawing your final cards,
the card reader will flash the words, "carded session in progress".

The general concensus is that card pulling used to work, but is no
longer effective against current slot card systems.

How do you keep the casino from recording a "big win" when they have to hand deliver your
money and give you a W2-G?

does this kind of behavior look like premature withdrawal to the casino
system?

Some places don't show your current points as you play. Some don't even
show them if you reinsert your card - they show the points from
the "time before". Hilton and Four Queens are two that come to mind.
So, I do a lot of inserting and pulling out through out my session,
Never in the middle of a hand though. Does that activity have a chance
of 'looking' like card pulling to their software?

Ive never understood why the casinos take that position. They're on
the hook for the win or potiential win regardless of the card being
pulled. I understand they want to be aware of evrey cent won or
(preferably) lost. But dealt royals automactically lock up and dealt
quads of any kind are relativly rare. FPDB or 10/6DDB are marginal
games, at best, and you cant mask slot club pts. earned on these games
anyway. If you play nothing but 0.25 FPDW and FPJW close to perfect,
your likely gonna show positive results even if you pull out for dealt
4Ducks, 5ofKinds, ect. Id completly understand if the casino pulled
the plug on the idiot who withdrew his/her card on evrey dealt trips,
straight, ect. But it would be a nice courtasey if the casino would
let a few dealt quad aces slide in the interrest of good will!

The only downside I can think of is if the casino rewards longer
sessions with extra comp points (Harrah's system does this).

I've posted this before. Almost no casinos today still have systems
that fail to track play on an incomplete hand whether you pull your
card or not. However, HR's system is so old that it very well may be
the exception).
