Platinum/Diamond in a Day

Anyone know if Harrah's still offers Platinum or Diamond in a Day? When
it was offered before it was only good until the end of the year unless
you met the annual base point requirements. If so, how many points are
required for Las Vegas or Reno?

Thanks for any input.

This is from the Harrah's website:
"Total Rewards Tier Score
Your Tier Score is a running total for the year of tier credits
earned, and determines your level. We offer three levels: Gold,
Platinum or Diamond. As member of Total Rewards you automatically
qualify for Gold status. Earn 4,000 Tier Credits in a calendar year
for Platinum status and 11,000 for Diamond."

Base credits go toward your comp balance.

BTW, Seven Stars is 100,000 tier. I've always been surprised that
there isn't a level between Diamond and Seven Stars - like something

at 50,000 tier. Sorry, can't help you about the "Diamond in a Day" promotions --- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, "midorinish" <midorinish@...> wrote:

You need to call the property in which you want to play at. Ask for
the Total Rewards Center. Especially ask for the hours. Some are
12am-11:59pm and some are 6am-5:59am. Points are 3000 for Diamond and
2000 for Platinum in Laughlin. After making Diamond ask for a host and
ask for an upgrade on your room. Depending on the property the will give
it to you.

MY spouce got an offer from Harrahs in Laughlin for 4 nights, with $300
plus smaller food and spa credits. Can either of us obtain DIAD,
considering we were once diamonds but let status expire (I understand
DIAD is no good for renewals)? Will Harrahs have a problem if we don't
stay 4 nights, if we gamble enough in the nights we stay?
