Pioneer- stepping up to the plate

The Pioneer does not get much talk on these boards but it is a fine
Gambling Hall. In the May monthly mailer it touts a new room program
to go with the regular Getaway nights you get. You get a voucher at
check-in and it looks like $2k on VP/48 hours/confirmed at slot club
gets you two nights anytime.

I inquired thru the website with the marketing director. As asual, a
reply was received with-in an hour.

"The Summer Bonus Getaways are valid 7 days a week, subject to
availability and expire 60 days from the date of validation. We plan
to run this promotion through September 30 (subject to change, of
course). Our customers are loving it, and I hope you get the
opportunity to take advantage of the extra free nights too!

The Pioneer has game/promo/cb/comps combos that exceed 100% ER. They
have a strong sign-up promo too, where you get benefits up to your
first 10k thru/first 24 hours.

I almost never play at the Pioneer since the last full pay dueces
wild machine went MIA last year. Both it and the loose dueces
machine next to it were taken out at the same time.

I went there all the time. I still have a valid VIP card just from
playing the first few months of 2004. It was nice having a free room
option besides the River Palms. The Edgewater doesn't give me rooms
since I'm local and it appears the Palms may not anymore.

AAUUUUUUURRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I guess I could use some comp balances for rooms instead of food if I
have to but that would suck.
