Yep, I got got cut-off last Thursday. No more very hoppy beer for me playing
the Bally Gamemakers (9/6 Jacks in quarters) on the bartops. I was getting
too hammered...or talking it up too much. I had to go back to New Belgium
Springboard (Fort Colins, CO) from Stone India Pale Ale (Escondido, CA) . For
the uniformed that means going from a 6.9% beer to a 6.2% one. Bud is 5% ABV.
The bartender insisted, but let me play on...he still had the Belgium Chimay
Tripple at 9% on tap. I was talking it up too much. Lesson learned..drink
Sassy Sues Beer, but be quiet.
What is most interesting is any Stout, like Guinness, is less buzz then Bud.
I pointed out to the Pioneer slot club boothlings that Guinness is spelled
with two "N"s, not one. Check your Roundup mailers or the Entertainer for the
mistakes. Let'e see what happens.
