Pioneer July Promos

The July info is on the website. They are doing assorted CODs days again and
month long triple points. A couple usual promos that get Jacks over 100%.

But they are doing another birthday (their 21st) month long slot tourney like
last year. Starting July 2nd they will do daily slot tourneys. Qualifying
play is 300 points ( not determined if this is the 3X rate or not).

Last time around they did like seven a day and they put your name back in if
you didn't win. You win a whole $20 bucks as a daily qualifier. I think 42
folks come back on Sundays and slug it out to be in the top 10 scores. This
gets you in the Grand Finale the first Sunday in August. These forty players
split $20k, $7k for first. It is a real marathon, but you can qualify 4 times
for the finals. At least this is how they did it last year.

Anyone know if Arrogant Bastard (Stone Brewing) Ale is still on tap in Sassy
Sue's? Hope Marshall runs out the American Wheat next door at the Boiler Room
by the time I get back. It is his worst brewmeister's special offering...IMO.

Speaking of July promotions, Riverside is running an interesting one
for July called 2nd chance royal promotion. Details are a bit
sketchy, but this promotion will run Mon., Tues., Wed. and Friday. If
you miss a royal by one card, you can get a drawing card for the
$1,000 drawing which is being held at 11AM and 2 PM.

The changes continue over at the Belle and the Edgewater. Gone are
all the $2 BJ and the $1 craps tables. The $7.77 prime rib special
and the eat for a buck on gone for good. Also as has been previously
reported, the poker room at the Edgewater is closed. They plan on
some give away's for new sign ups for the ACCESS card. The first
giveaway is a car windshield protector. Now this sounds appropriate
for July with 115 degree temperatures and no shaded parking at the
the Belle.
