Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall Low Roller Promos/Birthday Special

It looks like it pays to have a valid e-mail addy listed with the Pioneer. I got an e-mail for my January birthday telling me to stop by the slot club to pick up three presents. I did not get any birthday mailer in 2010 after about a six year run of a birthday mailer (comp #8001-two nights or two buffets good for a year). Anyone get something in 2010?

This comp #8200, says I get $25 free-play, a $35 food voucher and 2 extra nights good through June 2011. This is not a bad premium for my $15k coin-in in 2010.

The January promos remain strong, with VP CODs and the Wednesday Prize "O" Plenty Wheel spins for every $1k coin-in good for free-play/food worth 2%+. Check out their on-line calendar if you don't get the mailer.

Pioneer still has playable VP and a few tasty draft beers in Sassy Sue's. I was disappointed last trip when the Red Hook ESB was replaced by the Coors brewed Pale Moon.

If you are looking for tasty beers, I understand that the Boiler Room is back again brewing their own beers. It has been a year since they stopped brewing due to some kind of license snafu....at least that was the story. They have changed the name from the Boiler Room to Pints. Anyone been over there to check it out?
