If anyone checks out this promotion, could you let us know if it's worth a try or not?? I'm sure it won't apply to the 100% vp games, but it may make 9/6 JB worth playing??
From the L. Entertainer this week:
"Double Time Jackpots"
When: Ongoing
Prizes: Double jackpots.
Format/Entry: The Pioneer has brought back one of the first promotions ever to be introduced in Laughlin-and it has been updated and improved.
Each machine involved in the promotion (including video reel games, keno games, video poker games and $1 reel games) belongs to its own pool based on pay tables. Depending upon the play on the machines in each pool, the "Double Time" jackpots can go into effect up to 10 times an hour (lasting for 60 seconds each time). When it's "Double Time", qualifying jackpots are automatically doubled by the computer system with pools ranging from 50 coins to as high as 6,700 coins. Unlike the original "Double Time," players don't have to stop play when they hit a qualifying jackpot but can continue to try to hit more jackpots in that session. Also unlike the original, there is no jingle playing over the PA system but rather an electronic tone at each machine and the machine's card reader scrolls the message that it is "Double Time."
See Round-Up Club booth for details on which machines are involved in "Double Time."
Thanks, Martin.
