We were really looking forward to our 4th stay of the year at PM. We
had reserved 2 days comped at the Tower room from the pamphlet with
$20 freeplay, $50 meal coupon, and made an additional 2 day ressie in
an Imperial Suite with 300 free play from a mailer. The biggest
problem with PM as you all know is the mucked up comp system. After
settling in to our tower room we went to the VP and when I inserted my
passport card it showed 520 in free play. I admit I was puzzled as to
the amount of free play but who the heck knows at PM and I sure wasn't
going to complain about it. After our first two nights I went to the
VIP lounge to check out of the tower room and into the Imp suite. The
host said we had a food balance od $118 but she took care of it. She
then checked us in to the suite and took my mailer coupon for $300. We
made short work of moving as the suite was on the same floor as our
room was. Back to the VP......... I expected the $300 in free play to
show up on passpoint card play but nada. My conscionce told me
AHAAA ... they are rectifying a mistake! So I did not bring it to
anyones attention. We played two more days at 50 cent to a $1 level
with approx ten hrs a day action. When it was time to check out I
again went to host expecting to have food charges picked up. She said
no go as I was $197 in the red.
I paid my bill in full without further adieu and continued on to
Lake Tahoe. Overall I like the PM (smoke aside) but the comp system
will preclude me from further visits. I E-mailed PM telling them of my
dissatisfaction with their astoundingly bad comp system but have had
no return comment.
