That's a beautiful sight to any of us Spin players. Many times if
instead of a total redraw you have four and draw one to a royal on
Spin and "hit" you'll usually get at least 3 royals. But a royal on a
total redraw in any VP game? It has to be an astonishing surprise.

There is a flip side to that kind of good fortune. A woman on a $1 50-
play Jacks machine was dealt four to the royal. She gasped, held the
four cards, and then hit "DRAW". How many royals would it be?

None.

Lots of flushes?

Zero.

Straights?

Nope.

And, yes, it gets worse - not even jacks or better.

Every one of the 50 cards drawn was 2-9 in the wrong suit.

Total Payout: Zero.

Not sure of the odds of all of that, but it's probably as unlikely as
that five-card royal redraw. The game is kind to some but very unkind
to others. So congrats on being on the "right" side of skill, luck
and timing.

The only zero's I ever gotten on 50/100 play (actually 39 through 100 play) have been on 4
to the RF and SF (Sigh). On the other hand, playing 10-play one day, I threw away
a straight (the T ) to hold 4 RF and drew 10 winners: including 3 RF's, 2 ST's, 2 F's and 3
HP's. (Oh happy day)

Thanks. You'll notice I drew one deuce and since the rf was hard to
pick out, I initially thought it was just a wild royal. It took a few
moments of the credits racking up for me to even realize what it was.

Sadly, that was the only good hit on that whole trip for me. A $200
royal doesn't go very far on a five day trip.
