Very nice hit! I'm sure you made Bobby Jindal happy with the $6K cut
the state took lol.

The 8-5 Bonus on that machine is the better paying game, but not when
you play DW and flop the Bonus Deuces (which is like flopping the
royal on a regular multi-line game).

I'll keep it a secret where you hit it, but that casino is not such a
great play, IMHO.

Why should it be a secret where he/she hit it?

That seems weird to me.

Well, maybe there's something going on there that we don't know about,
but I feel like I'm hijacking the thread by outing where it got hit.
It wasn't my machine, nor my win, and I feel like I have to respect
that. At 99.56 or so, and all the LA taxes you can handle (probably 1%
of the ER) at 6% (although probably refundable to the extent of the
win), I don't think this is a great bargain. CB is .25% or less. Now,
if there was a 2x Jackpot promo, this could be a monster.

If there's a compelling reason to discuss where this was, I suppose we
can discuss that. But...it's a $50 total bet, with titanic variance. I
mean titanic, too. It's really easy to drop $10K in a short period of
time on this machine.

No, I don't really care where it was....it was just the mention of secrecy that made it seem odd. It's not as if knowing exactly which casino it was will make it happen less or more again. If whoever wants to keep it a secret, then that's their prerogative. Anyway it was certainly an exciting picture - I agree that the game is filled with "titanic variance" as you put it., which takes away from some of the amazement when you think about how rare this occurrence really is, compared to how much money you can easily throw into this machine.

With this game returning 99.56% (at least that's what the Wizard of
Odds says and he's usually spot on), why did you indicate earlier
that Bonus Poker with a return of 99.17% is the better game to play
on this machine?

Unless there was a promo of some kind that applied to BP and not the
deuces game, it seems the higher return game would be the better
play. Is it just that you think the variance is too high for anyone
to bank roll?
