Hi, Nice to talk hear from you again also. Pls send me your regular email
address when you get a moment.
I beg to differ with you about having patience on the full pay pickems at
MGM. Ever since they switched every other machine at the bar to short pay
pickem schedule, the full paymachines have been horrible. Have you observed how
the screen has a slight jump and then you get the 18-20 hands with nothing?
Next you get a small paying hand, then it goes back to 18-25 hands with nothing.
I have talked to several (7 or more) video poker players that have observed
this also. Even thought all the books, magazines and authors says "randomness",
we feel it could be very possible that the casinos are controlling the
payouts from the mainframe. The above occurences have gone on far too many times
for randonness. People come down on week-ends to drink and yuck it up and have
a good time with their friends. It is next to impossible to get on video
poker machines on week-ends so it is an excellent time for the casino to mess with
these machines as the machines just get continuous use whether they pay or
not.! Think about it and give me your thoughts.
